“When I moved to Auckland in 2012, amongst a sea of generalist music schools, it was clear that a specialist guitar school was sorely needed.

My goal in setting up Auckland Guitar School was to use my unique skills, experience and training to create that, and more – a specialist guitar school like no other.

A school that creates real musicians – regardless of whether they want to just play a few favourite songs by the campfire, or aspire to play at a professional level.

Where everyone can benefit from being part of a uniquely supportive community of guitar players and take advantage of regular performance opportunities if they wish, to showcase their talents.

Where students have fun and become good musicians who can think and create, and experience what playing music is all about rather than just “painting by numbers”.

Thanks to a lot of hard work and the incredible team at the School, I’m proud to say that we are achieving this every day, and always striving to make it even better.”
