Auckland Jazz & Blues Club is a cornerstone of the local scene, offering a traditional club atmosphere with a loyal following. It hosts regular club nights every Tuesday evening at the Birkenhead RSA, featuring a different local, national, or sometimes international band each week.
Nectar, located upstairs at The Kingslander, serves as the primary home for the Creative Jazz Club (CJC) Aotearoa. Features contemporary and original jazz from New Zealand’s top musicians most Wednesday nights.
Ponsonby Social Club is a staple of Ponsonby Road, known for its trendy atmosphere and consistent support of live music. Regularly hosts jazz and soul-influenced acts, often featuring high-energy ensembles.
